Iphigenia and Other Daughters (Theoretical)
Iphigenia and Other Daughters by Ellen McLaughlin is a modern adaptation of the Greek mythology, focusing on the women's relationship. Sisterhood, family trauma and breaking the cycle were the main themes of the play. I took a magical yet still somewhat realistic approach where the Greek columns open up to reveal the story. At the end of the play, they drop and get replaced by an intrusive structure, as the characters attempt to break the family cycle.
